I spent most of the day in and out of consciousness as I am battling strep throat for the third time in 365 days after spending 13 years strep-free.

The last time I had it was January, and my primary care doctor mentioned that a viable option for me to have a tonsillectomy to reduce the problem. So it looks like Julia’s Ongoing Relationship with Various Surgeries is alive and well.

So, as this picture demonstrates the myriad of antibiotics, steroids and painkillers I’m on. This weekend, Charlie will be at an art teacher’s conference, so once I get this damned exam out of the way tomorrow, and work on Friday, I’m pretty much going to spend Friday night through Sunday afternoon on my back, unconscious.
