November 11, 2010

Well, as suspected, I was about as sore as I thought I was going to be.  I still trundled out to the gym, hopped on an arc trainer, and got down to business.  After that, I hit the steam sauna for a few minutes, took a shower, and trundled back home, feeling great after getting the muscles moving and steamed out.

As soon as I sat down at home, I locked right back up again.

Tomorrow should be interesting.

I have a fantastic foot heater that is great for taking the chill out of your sheets when the outside temp starts to dip (I may, or may not have, already fired that bad boy up).  There is nothing so nice as to slide icicle-tootsies into warm sheets! Anywho, this pad is long enough to  fit across the foot of my queen-sized bed; I think I might flip it longwise on the bed and sleep on it tonight to work the kinks out.

Which reminds me: when I was in first grade, my then-bff said that sleeping on an electric blanket all night causes cancer.  I’m not even sure that I knew what cancer was back then, but I knew it was not good.  I’m not even sure if this is true or not, because if it is, I’m in big trouble.
