I have no set “theme” for today.  I had one earlier, when my brain was still functioning, but after work, class and a 20-mile one-way commute, my brain is mush.

I have clothing in the washer, and I need to make individual breakfast smoothie packets for quick breakfasts.

Long day, tomorrow, too.

This is just the prelude to the holidays.

Breakfast Smoothie
3tbs chocolate soy protein powder
1tbs ground flax seed
2tbs (heaping), smooth (or chunky) peanut butter
1cup milk (soy, almond, vanilla, chocolate, 1%, skim – your choice, whatever floats thy boat)
1 banana (I like to use ones that are too brown to eat)
1/2cup ice

Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.

I like this smoothie, it tastes chocolatey and a peanut butter-y and keeps me full all morning.
