Well, I started my new job, and in some ways it’s as bad as I thought it would be, and not as bad as I thought it would be. For people who have access to my Facebook account, you can see some of the limited details about what I am now doing for my bread and butter. But, seeing as I am sanctioned/audited by the SEC, I don’t think that I am really allowed to talk too much about my job. Everyone will get aliases, eventually, if I have a good story to tell, I’ll be veiled, and I cannot talk about clients in any way, shape or form.
Seriously, not only will I get fired, I will probably go to jail.
I may have already said too much as it is. Back to [Retail Job].
I’m still not going to reveal where I was working in retail, as I am still sort of working there one day a week. Besides, it’s bad manners to “kiss and tell” (too bad for Uncle Sam). I love the people I worked with, the job was just horrific.
Okay, so I also bought a laptop. Which may have been premature, but warranted. I had the Dell for seven years, I was stealing music, and it got Trojan Horses, and some virus that would reinstall itself onto my C drive. But, now that I’m making some cheese, it was about time to treat myself. So, in addition to my Coach bag (which you should totally see: it’s the greatest ever), I bought a laptop.
It’s a 15.4″, widescreen, HP Pavilion Entertainment PC. Considering the amazing specs on this thing, I really feel like I got away with a huge deal. I really like it.
